Marvel's Agents of SHIELD!

In case you guys were wondering, no, I'm not going to review each and every episode of this. I kinda want to, but I just don't have the time. Also, I really want to focus my site on the movies. TV shows are great, but movies are really where my passion lies. But, caring about Superheroes like I do, here's what I think of the show so far.

Requests?

I was brainstorming as to what movie I wanted to retro review next, but I'm stuck. I could review one of my favorite movies again, but I feel like you guys are probably tired of seeing me review movies with only good things to say. So, anyone want to see me review your favorite movie? There's always a chance I haven't seen it, but I want to leave what movie I review up to chance. That way you guys don't know if I liked it or not. So just let me know in the comments what movie you want reviewed, and I'll do my best.

Thanks, guys.

Retro Review: Resident Evil

Guys, it's been a while. I took a bit of time off of reviewing for some personal reasons, but now, I'm back!
Anyway, There aren't any new Superhero movies coming out until November, and news has been rather slow, so I thought I'd review a movie I just watched the other night. The video game adaptation, Resident Evil. Enjoy the review, guys.

Retro Review: Alien

Well, it's Friday, time for another retro review. This time I'll be reviewing a cult classic, Ridley Scott's Alien. People love this movie now, but it's interesting because originally, people didn't know what to think of it. That being said, that makes it hard for me to be objective, but I'll try my very best to give you my opinion of Alien as a movie, and not as a fan favorite.

It now appears that Elizabeth Olsen is the new front runner to play the Scarlet Witch in the upcoming Avengers sequel. Alrighty then.

Retro Review: Terminator 2: Judgement Day

A huge success, there was no way that James Cameron was going to pass on creating a sequel to his darkand gritty sci-fi film, The Terminator. After the way 1984 changed cinema forever, it was time to take it to the next level. Now backed by Hollywood, and of course, by the same visionary that conceived the first film, T-2 brings about the next chapter in the Terminator story. He said he'd be back, and now, he is. Let's get started, shall we?

Retro Review: The Terminator

In 1984, James Cameron brought us the beginning of one of the most endearing cinema franchises of all time. Not many people know how low budget this movie was. It wasn't supposed to be a hit, but it was huge. Still one of the most infamous characters of all time, and still influencing Sci-Fi movies to this day. But... was it really that good? Is it really worth being declared one of the greatest Sci-Fi movies of all time? Maybe. Read on to see my opinion.

Review: Superman vs. The Elite

Right now, DC owns animated movies. Like, seriously, DC has put out some of the best animated films of all time, and every time I see a new one, I get reasonably excited. I was naturally excited about this one when I saw previews for it. But did it live up to the standard set by other DCAU films?

Retro Review: Superman Returns

Superman Returns. The man of steel spent twenty years away from the big screen, but was never really far away. Bryan Singer brings us a more emotional, and less campy movie, but still ties it to the first two, while ignoring the events of the third and fourth. Thank God it ignored the fourth. But it brings us an entirely new cast, and something completely new compared to the movies we all know and love. Just want to let you guys know that there IS a spoiler in here. I'll let you know when we get to it, but be careful while you read if you haven't seen the movie.

News: The Flash Coming Back to the Small Screen!

I honestly can't contain my excitement. Not only has DC announced that they're giving The Flash his own movie, he's also getting his own series on the CW. Am I in Heaven? Because I'm pretty sure this is what Heaven is like.

News: Quicksilver Might Be Cast. Still No Word On Scarlet Witch.

We've known for a while now that Joss Whedon is adding this brother-sister duo to the Avengers roster. I'm psyched, but I'm still concerned over the casting. Too soon to say how this'll turn out.

News: DC Announces Flash and Justice League Movie.

DC with a plan. I never thought I'd see the day. I've been saying for a long time that DC needs to stop, and
understand that they aren't going to get ahead of Marvel over night. They finally took a step back, and made a plan. And for me, they couldn't have done it any better.

News: Superman AND Batman!

This is some old news, but I'm way behind in news stories, and I'm going to try to post several to get caught up. Man of Steel 2 WILL have Batman. Dude, I'm pretty sure this is what it feels like to live in a perfect world.

Retro Review: Darkman

A combination of Liam Neeson, and director Sam Raimi. What could go wrong? Right? A superhero movie with an interesting premise, an amazing director, and an equally good leading man. I had heard very different opinions on the movie, and wasn't sure at all how this movie was going to turn out. Well, it... turned out...

The Wolverine: After Credits Scene

I don't really need to do a spoiler post on this movie, but I still wanted to talk about the scene after the
credits. That's a warning. If you haven't seen the movie (or you're one of those people that leave right as the credits start to roll) then I would recommend against reading this. Of course, as always, if you just don't care, you're welcome to come right on in. So here we go!

Review: The Wolverine

Haunted by his past, but must save the future. In his second solo outing, Wolverine goes to Japan, where a man offers to take his immortality away from him. But when it actually happens, Wolverine must push through his new found pain, as well as old, and protect what he cares about. Cool premise, right? Didn't know what to think of this when I saw the previews, but now that I've seen the movie, I've made up my mind.

Ratings

I've been noticing that a lot of reviewers have a lot of different meanings for their ratings. In short, when someone says they give something a 3/5, it may be entirely different from what my 3/5 might be. So, I just thought I'd let you guys know exactly what I mean when I give something a certain rating. Plus, I'm a little bored, so why not?

Retro Review: Elektra

This'll be my first retro review. I was going to make the first one a movie that I held near and dear to my heart, but since I just watched this movie yesterday, I figured I should go ahead and review it while it was still fresh in my mind. Several of these will contain spoilers, but this one will be spoiler free, so feel free to read and enjoy.

And with even more on their way with the Avengers phase two, and the possibility of a Justice League movie, the popularity has never been greater. Like anyone else, I have movies I like more than others, so here is my top ten list, for comic book movies.

Review: The Lone Ranger

I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time. The previews made this movie look like something
really cool, action pact and well acted. But did it live up to my expectations? Was it as good as I was hoping? Well...

Spoilers- Star Trek: Into Darkness

Okey-dokey guys. I promised this would come, and now, here it is. There were a lot of spoilers in this
movie, so I wanted to talk about them. That should serve as a warning. DO NOT read this if you have not seen the movie. It WILL be full of spoilers and plot twist. Of course, if you just don't care, you're welcome, but read at your own risk. Anywho, let's talk spoilers!

Review- Star Trek: Into Darkness

I almost missed this movie, so it's a little late, but oh well. I'm here now. Star Trek. I was a pretty big fan of
the first one, so I was really looking forward to this movie. And Star Trek: The Voyage Home, is one of my favorite movies of all time because of it's wit, and heart. If anything, I was hoping for that, in this movie. But did we get it?

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man

Promised a friend I would do this one even though it's a bit old so, here I go. Another Spider-Man movie. Awesome. I'd been looking
forward to this for a while, and when we finally got it, I was ecstatic. But did it live up to my expectations? Read on to find out.

Review: Man of Steel

This could be the biggest movie of the summer. Not to mention it's DC's make or break point. They've either got to
come up with an awesome movie, or The Justice League will take even longer to get off the ground. If there was ever a time for the pressure to be on for a movie to be awesome, It's now.
